FRESH | SIMPLE | MODERN
My name is Yazmin Firkins and I have been a celebrant since 2010.
I come from a theatre and public speaking background. I have worked all over the world as an entertainer, host and presenter.
My experience in the entertainment industry allows me to deliver a light-hearted ceremony that meets your vision with elegance. Whether you would like a more soft and emotional wedding or something a bit more fun, lively and energetic; together we can come up with the perfect ceremony.
I will take the time to get to know the both of you so we can create a ceremony, that truly reflects and captures you as a couple.
My personal philosophy is to create ceremonies that are captivating and engaging. I promise to deliver your wedding in a way that is memorable for everyone!
I love getting to know each couple, and being able to go on this journey with them”
I will take you through the whole process, step by step to ensure for a smooth and stress free journey.
I can send you through some suggested vows and ceremonies, to help give you some ideas if you are still a little unsure. I like to give couples a questionnaire, which helps me get to know you, and perhaps you will even learn something new about each other.
I am definitely not limited to having just 2 meetings with you. I am always available by phone or email, and happy to catch up to run through things, or help explain things if you need.

There is something so very romantic about a small, intimate wedding!
The Bride, The Groom, The Celebrant and two witnesses.
For many couples, the thought of planning a wedding with all the bells and whistles is just too daunting.
An elopement allows you to really focus on the actual reason that you are getting married – to express your love for each other and the commitment you are making together.
- An initial meeting to sign the Notice of Intended Marriage
- Ceremony performed on the day
- All paperwork lodged after.
Like the idea of getting married somewhere far away? There are lots of reasons to have an overseas wedding, but there can be a high risk that you won’t be legally married, when you return to Australia.
By taking an Australian Celebrant with you (me), I will ensure that all documents are lodged correctly here in Australia - to make sure you are legally married when you return. And we will also have the chance to meet several times, before we head away, to get the ceremony and your vows perfect.
